Overview
The VOMS-101 is configured for spine and brain surgery, delivering Full-HD 1920×1080p stereoscopic imaging with deep depth perception and no eyepiece lens.
In the past, loupes or optical surgical microscopy were used. Today, 3D surgery with a high-resolution video microscope lets the surgeon recognise the depth of the lesion through the monitor, making the procedure more refined and precise.
A head-up display posture is maintained for the whole procedure, and recorded surgical video can be shared through the 3D Full-HD monitor — an efficient format for training and case review. Optical zoom of up to 2× is adjusted by a simple twist of the turret.
Key features
Distortion free
Sometech's patented lens technology minimises chromatic aberration, so surgeons avoid eye strain, dizziness and headache.
Unsurpassed depth of field
Patented image processing provides crystal-clear images of both the immediate and surrounding area.
Head-up system
Relief from neck and lumbar pain, eye strain and headache throughout long procedures.
Touch screen GUI and recorder
Built-in GUI and recording system — set the video quality and manage recording from the main unit.
Easy and precise movement
Ergonomic design lets surgeons place the camera over the surgical area quickly and accurately.
2.0× optical zooming by turret
Adjustable optical zoom up to 2× by a simple twist of the turret.
Sharing of surgical imaging
Recorded surgical videos are shared through the 3D Full-HD monitor.
Clinical indications
Craniotomy, brain tumour, cerebrovascular surgery, tumour removal, spinal stenosis and spinal cord tumour; also ophthalmic and ENT / plastic surgery applications.
Why this device
Short learning curve and efficient education — the whole team sees exactly what the surgeon sees, in real time and in 3D.
